ABOUT ME

Dariana Elise Pérez is a Puerto-Rican & Guatemalan artist and lover of words. She received a degree from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie BFA Actor Training Program and a minor in Creative Writing.

Her love for performing began as a child when she and her brother would produce and perform musicals for their family. She still maintains this sense of play within her work while also aspiring to be an empathetic and innovative artist.

As a groovy child in PR, she was determined to become a performer, writer, wedding planner, and baker. She plans to make her young dreams come true.

  • "Dariana Elise Pérez... is wonderful in the dual role of the twins, transforming from Viola to Sebastian with the aid of a reversible vest and hats, but more so with the slightly different timber of her voice and the way that she stands and carries herself. She fits right in with this company of TTT and #TCTheater vets."

Cherry and Spoon (“Twelfth Night”; Ten Thousand Things)

  • "Dariana Elise Pérez seems completely at home in the mix as the twins Viola and Sebastian. . Viola is really the heart of the story here, the only character whose emotional arc matters, and Pérez conveys the character's depth along with the play's comical elements.

Talkin' Broadway (“Twelfth Night”; Ten Thousand Things)

  • "a literally haunting Dariana Elise Pérez, who retains her poise even after getting dragged around the glen on a sheet."

The Tangential (“Aquelarres”; The Birth Play Project)
